dearest slie

i left office about 6:45-ish last nite. while i was stucked in a traffic jam in front of summit, i got a call from slie. slie is my dearest friend whom i hardly see nowadays. he is my ex-colleague. he left the company in 2003 as he wanted to become a financial consultant aka unit trust. hehe. anways, last nite he was at TTDI jaya so i asked him to come down to BS.

it took him quite a while to reach BS. i dont really know what happen. i already given him a clear direction, the land-marks and the right routes to take from TTDI jaya to BS. but still he failed. haha. sudahnya, i had to ask him to stop somewhere (at mesjid subang permai) and met him there. argghh. it took him almost an hour just twirlling around the area and he couldnt even find all the landmarks that i mentioned. like dughh. hehe. cian dia. by the time we reached BS, its almost 9:00-ish.

its good to see him again. we guffed and catching up stuff the whole nite. i had fun. its like having a 'slumber' party la plak. haha. slie has been thru' quite a lot after he quit his job. to become a financial consultant is not easy as it looks. there's ups and downs along the way. but now he's back on his feet with a vengeance. huhu. good for him!

hairspray

me, aj and mus watched hairspray after that lovely lunch cooked by aj. thanks aj once again, for that super-licious meal. altho' its a bit masin but i still enjoyed it. huhu.

did i like the movie? it was OK-lah. basically, musical-movie is just not my thing. but in this case, i find it interesting. the story line is simple. its all about retro, the 60's, white and black, racist issue and how they deal with it. the dance choreography was fantastic, the props were awesome and the songs were fun too. hehe.

funny ey... cos hairspray was in cinema in July last year and its over a year now. yet i only saw it yesterday. 8-)

my superb weekend

a great weekend indeed. full with colours, fun, laughter, sadness, drama, D.I.V.A., feast galore, travel and living, harry porter 'at plaza pheonix' (errrk??) and most importantly i spent all the above with my beloved frens. huhu. i had the best time of my life - totally!

... but now im kinda 'dizzy', 'lazy' and feeling a bit 'tired' at my sweet-ole-desk in the office. its rather quiet this morning. i guess some of my colleagues are still on leave. good for 'em. i wish i had taken a day off today and be less miserable. like dughh! *sigh...*

apa-apa pun, im still happy to be at work. there's loads to do and i might as well pump-up that energy and show some enthusiasm. hehe.

dream girls & father figure

i did mention about that three ex-girl frens of mine (bole gituh?) in "my dear facebook" entry and here they are. huhu.

riza with her hubby (hasnul - wazzup dude?) and their two Galohs. ahhhh. riza is the 'mak-datin' type. always looking good and suka sgt 'mantain'. jgn marah taw. i love to crack some stupid guffs with her. if you happened to bump into us, you'd definitely see us laughing and giggling out of nothing. she's fun to be with and i kinda miss that.

effa with her kids. happily married and she's a good fren of riza. i think they went to the same school or somethin'. like i care! haha. effa is more rilex and lay-back type of person. she's just friendly and awesome.

fiza - if you watched Denise Richards - "its complicated", she's all that. haha. no lah. im just kidding. fiza is like my little sister. she's so manja, fragile and nakal. i still remember that complicated love story of hers, and thank GOD she didnt end up marrying that 'cheeky-bugger'. huhu. i bet she's really happy now with her hubby and kids.

yup, there's a lot of catching up to do with these three ladies and im really looking forward to that. just like the good-old-days.

lunch... or not to lunch

its almost 1pm and everybody has gathered in level 6 pantry for 'lunch'. its a pot-luck thingy and most of the 'kakak-kakak' here chipped-in and brought some lauk-pauks to the office. huhu.

but somehow, i have to hi-lite this. hehe. the pot-luck thingy was planned for only a group of people (including me) and was not broadcasted to the whole dept. this in a way has upset some of 'em. which i think is a bit ridiculous and 'doris' aka bodoh. dont you think so? if i were 'uninvited' to such a small 'makan-makan', so what? no big deal-lah. anways, the makan place was at pantry (tingkat 6) and not at some exclusive cafe or restaurant pun. arghh. macam budak-budak kan? *sigh...*

some people are so over-sensitive and appalling? sentap!!!

my dear facebook

ive recently joined facebook (FB). its been a couple of weeks now. in a way, i was 'forced' to join FB after that long nagged by my sweet-old fren riza during my office hari ra-ra open-house. haha. so thats what i did and i am now officially a FB-ian. 8-)

riza is a good-old-girlfren of mine. she's happily married to hasnul and now has 2 beutiful girls. ahhh. blessed her! we've been very close friends back in year 2000. loads of fun during those years. hanging, clubbin' and karaoking together-gether. haha. and i dont know why, along the years we have drifted apart. i guess, it was basically more on my side. i had a very difficult years back in those years - financially and emotionally. but now things are better and i think i should re-concile and start all over again. same goes to fiza and effa too. ;-) two of my favorite gals of all time. huhu. (i will post their pix in my next entry k).

thanks to FB for 're-uniting' us. hope our friendships will blossom like before from now on. totally! 8-)

i just had a great conversation with my big boss - mr lim - the vice president. he just walked in and stopped at my desk. asking how was my raya and stuff like that. hehe. he hails from kampar and thats actually really close to TT. he says that he would come to TT for udang galah every time he comes back to kampar. very true, its super cheap to eat sea-food ie udang galah & ketam in TT. i guess today is a good day for him. he's happy, cheerful and very friendly. haha. seriously, you dont get that much often from him. :-O

im still ok with my selection from 1 to 6, but no 7 is definitely GEMPAR! even i was surprised that i actually bought it. honestly, i just love her voice. hehe.

fun-week-end

yup. last week was fun and great. it was the first week of working after a long break of hari ra-ra. huhu. everybody was at work but none were really working. i guess hari raya mood is still lingering around us until the last day of Syawal. some say, its a celebration that last for a month. but to me, the thrill only happens on the Syawal's eve and the first day of ra-ra. after that its just a glory and happy days that i'd cherish with my family and friends. 8-)

thanks mus, mitch, ejam and badril for the time spent last weekend. i really had a great time. guffing with you guys was really fun and i hope we could do it again soon ya. next time come to my place pulak taw.

water charges

finally i received my water bill since i moved in to BS. huhu. and it cost me rm26.22. quite expensive ey. and to my surprise the water bill doesnt come from 'syabas'. it came from the developer - guthrie. pelik kan? the apartment AJK members is currently pleading to get some sort of approval to change from guthrie to 'syabas'. i do hope that this will happen very soon. so that murah sket my monthly water charges. yess!

nways, i was at the guthrie office this morning and tried to pay the water bill. but since there is outstanding balance, they advise me to pay up all. hell no way! so i called up my tuan rumah and she was really upset with guthrie. haha. she said the outstanding amount had been settled months ago and yet the amount is still there. like dugh!! i reckon that she will resolve the situation ASAP so that i could pay up my water bill. nanti, tak pasal-pasal air kena potong plak. terpaksalah mandi kat perigi (ala ramona rahman - fenomena) or umah kawan2. bole gituh? huhu.

did i enjoy my raya? hehe. yup. its nothing much but i enjoyed it anyway. especially mom's and kak yus' rendang ayam & daging. the lemang - this year my dad and my brader toki did the honour of 'bakar' em. i think there were more than 8 batang lemangs. huhu. cool. kak long's ketupat & nasik himpit and kuah kacang. simply awesome. what was my contribution? errr. i did all the 'cleaning' and 're-arranging' of the main hall. huhu. not need to elaborate la yek. i've been doing the same 'task' every raya for as long as i could remember.

1. solat sunat aidilfitri kat mesjid TT
2. ziarah kubur kak ichon di ipoh
3. beraya di rumah kak abiah di bidor
4. beraya di rumah kak lang di kampar
5. came back to TT and wait for tetamu
6. eat, drink, watch tele, sleep a bit, eat again, drink and so forth... heh!
