lift / noun**

lift - (in british) a machine that carries people up and down between different levels of a tall buidling. american word is elevator.

the 'menara' that im working in has 5 lifts. 4 for 'public' use and one (1) is VIP for the EC / President of the company that im working with. Unfortunately, after hari ra-ra, two (2) of the 'public' lifts were out of order. kenapa? entah ler. suddenly jek our office building mgt announced that those two are 'shagged'. darn! so, left 2 public and 1 VIP. of the two publics, one lift is a bit 'absurd' cos at times it will stop at floors thats aint yours. and sometimes, especially if ur alone or two, once you push the button, the whole buttons will turn red and when this happen, it will lift you to a journey of your life. believe me.. it will be just like the movie 'Final Destination'. you wish its just a dream and that you cheat 'death' without joe black knowing it. huhu..

nways, where was i? oh ya... so, tinggal ler 2 lift publik dan 1 VIP. the EC and President are very kind people that while waiting the 2 lifts being repaired, the VIP will be temporarily turned into PUBLIC. bless 'em...!

tapi dengan 3 lifts pun tak cukup jugak yek. oh ya.. our building do have 1 lift bomba at the back. of course, priority goes to the goods. once a while i will try taking the stairs if i saw a big crowd at the lobby. im pretty lucky cos my floor is on the 6th. so, from the lobby tuh... tidak lah teruk sgt nak memanjat tangga itew. i could say that the stairs and i have became 'buddies' especially time turun tangga. hehe. skang ni keadaan tangga kat menara ni mmg tak sunyi seperti dulu especially time pagi, lunch dan waktu pulang. meriah sungguh!!

this morning i arrived rather early. i reached office at 6.50am. GEMPAR! i decided to take lift but lift 'sewel' tuh yg aku dpt. aku masuk jek kaki, aku nengok suma button menyala merah. OH MY G.. noway! its early and i dont want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere and that free ride??... no thanks. i rather take the stairs.

and tadi, bdk2 opis inform that lift utama tinggal dua jek. 1 public and 1 VIP.. oh not to forget 1 lift bomba. *sighh.....* and i've decided. im going to use the stairs from today onwards.
