weeknd at Awana Genting

on Thursday, 20-Mar-2008, while others were enjoying their Maulidur Rasul holiday, i had to pack my bag and drove up to Awana Genting for a 3-day training session. i had to be the emcee (again??) and honestly i wasn't really looking forward to it. huhu..

nways, the session went well and i think i've done a great job... chewah!

my dissapointment :
1. Awana Genting and Genting Highlands, was not that cold anymore. At noon, the weather is just like down here in KL. panas tak hingat....
2. It was raining almost everyday right after 3pm... but still hot and stuffy
3. Too many Singaporeans and Indians.
4. Indian tourits that are very stupid. Few incidents happened where they would ask me for directions and etc, as if i was one of the staff at Awana. fcuk 'em...
5. i had enough of buffet at Awana. the menus are all the same - breakfast, lunch and dinner. i really miss ky's nasik putih and ayam goreng kunyit.

left Awana at 2.30pm and drove down happily home to Ampang.

*back home and feeling tired. i really need a rest*

uniquely singapore - the sequel

went to singapore on 1-mac-2008 (saturday). it was a rather quick visit to singapore just to get my malaysia international passport (MIP) 'stamped'. hehe.. now my MIP is not a 'virgin'. cool.

the findings from that trip :
1. the public transport (MRT) is fantastically superb and efficient.
2. there's a lot of tiles going-on on singapore's landscape
3. the escalator at MRT stations are very fast and furious. :-O you gonna hv to be extra careful before stepping on it. so watch ur steps people!
4. the people are like 'robots'... huhu.
5. the trip were made even greater with the escape of JI leader (mas selamat)... huhu. it was like dead-jam all the way from woodlands garden up to the causeway (immigration). lucky we took the bus cos bus has its own route to exit. ;-)

nonetheless.. i really had a great time. it was my second visit and this time around it was worth while. having to experince the running and walking from one place to another. catching MRT from keranji all the way to harbour front and up to sentosa. it feels like i was in an amazing race asia. :-D thank god it was raining (like dugghh...) and that the weather was a bit 'gloomy'. so it wasn't hot at all. but still i was dripping with persperation. 8-)

thanks to e*** cos accompanied me to singapore. he was the 'tour-guide' for that day. i owe him big time.
